It is strange where historical significant video footage ends up. Here is the only remaining footage of a Tasmanian Tiger taken at the Hobart Zoo in 1936 (that somehow ended up on Youtube.com). Now, just imagine in the BBC or the ABC digitised and provided access to their vast archives. This footage is ‘public domain’; meaning that its copyright has expired, regardless of the copyright claims that are made in the credits of the footage. Feel free to distribute it.
