So what is the online language course and how does it all work? The Ngapartji Ngapartji team are putting together a 26 part online Pitjantjatjara language course for audiences of the Ngapartji Ngapartji theatre production. The lesson making comprises weekly workshops, bbqs, bush trips, filming and production workshops in and around Alice Springs with young (generally 12-17) Pitjantjatjara speakers. Working with BighART arts mentors, elders, their families, Pitjantjatjara linguists and teachers, these young people become YOUR tutors.
